I haven't been very good about keeping up the blog... I should fix that.

I almost ended up with a new job, but they really dropped the ball in the hiring process. I feel a little bad about it, but I ended up just straight ghosting them after the last offense.

First of all, I was told the wrong time for the interview. Alright, no big deal, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and tell myself I might've just misheard despite repeating it back to her to confirm at the time.

I receive an e-mail that says something along the lines of, "Thank you for accepting employment! You start this day. Call your manager to confirm." I wasn't offered the job or asked when I could start, so this kind of annoyed me, but I still decided to give them the benefit of the doubt because I wanted a new job.

So I call around 12:30pm and I'm told by the manager that she's busy and will call me back about it. I'm a little irked at this point and expect I'll receive a call sometime in the next few hours.

I wasn't called until around 6pm the following day, so I didn't answer and didn't call back. If my time isn't valuable to them, their's isn't to me either.

The search continues I suppose.
