My boyfriend and I went on a trip a few weeks ago and it was one of the nicest things I've done in quite some time.

The roomette was cozy enough, with enough room for the both of us, but sleeping on a train was definitely really weird.

I've never been over that way, so seeing all the stuff we were passing was also really nice. So much of the same, but all so different, you know? We mostly stayed in the roomette, but neither of us are really the most extroverted people, so that was fine with us.

It was mostly a pretty nice experience, especially since I've never done anything like that before. By the end of it, we were ready to be home. And after a few days of sleeping on a moving train, sleeping on something that wasn't moving was weird.

I'd like to do something like that again someday, I think.
